Updates.

Yesterday

-went to Penang for the band competition semi-finals with Siew Mun and Li-ying in her
  dad's car at 10am
-arrived after 3.5 hours.
-da pao KFC as lunch and rushed quickly to PISA Stadium.
-Malaysians being Malaysians, will never be punctual.
-Competition started half an hour later, could have taken our own sweet time having
  lunch.
-First band, Victoria Institution from KL.
-Many bands have the similar colour on uniforms: RED WHITE BLACK.
-Many bands have improved tremendously, especially St Joseph, Chung Hwa Wei Sin
 and Jit Sin.
-improvement of these bands gave us a shock, a good one.
-CHSB performed well, Weil Xuan didn't drop his mace at all.
-Top 6 Bands entered finals:
  *VI - Kuala Lumpur
  *CHS - Selangor
  *Nan Hwa - Perak
  *CHWS - Terengganu
  *St Joseph - Sarawak
  *Jit Sin - Penang
-This year's competition was a tough one. Each bands has their own style and all.
  Strong rivals.
-btw, finally met Wai Lam and friends from Nan Hwa after...2 years!
-needed to go back to KL, how sad. I had LAN Moral test the following day.

Today

-feeling tired in college as I arrived home at 12 something midnight.
-feeling nervous and wondered what was happening in Penang.
-I wanted to go to Penang.
-sad case, ZERO supporters buses from CHS went to Penang. Reason-->JPS rejected.
-less cheerings in Penang, I wanted to go so badly.
-wanted to call directly to Penang and listen to them play. but Malaysians are always
late, delayed the competition again. CHSB performed during my test!
-more nervous during the test. kept looking at the clock, kept praying.
-called to Penang immediately after I left MPH.
-tension-ness, haven't announced the results yet.
-CHSB and Nan Hwa got Gold Medal while the other finalists got Silver. that means,
Nan Hwa would be our only rival to fight for the champion title.
-waited for very very long for the final results. patience level 0. nervous level 10.
-Nan Hwa got best uniform and best drum major, congrats wai lam!
-most tension time of all-->final results
-3rd: KL (dskhdkjfhasdfhadsbsdnaf...cheerings by the impolite supporters from VI)
2nd: (this is killing me) Perak (dsjfsfsdfjsmnmxnhfa...cheerings by nan hwa supporters
and us, big chance for us to win!)
1st: (I'm going nuts) SELANGOR (AHHHHHH...WOOOHOOO....YEAHHHHH....cvjouwesdfsfjhsjhsjhf...nv ending cheerings).

Believe it or not, I was actually listening to the results directly from Penang, as in ''live'' through phone. Thanks for the canggih-ness of technology. I was really going nuts, I screamed and shouted my lungs out, my parents were happy too! I even cried, it's been a long time since I shed tears of joy, it's PURE. I wanted to fly to Penang so badly and immediately. I wanted to shout and cheer, I wanted to congratulate and cry with them, I wanted to hug my sis...very emo I was. Even till now, I'm still feeling hyper and excited. my feeling is indescribable.

Our fall last year, I'm glad that it's all worth the fall and failures that we have gone through. We climbed up from the hurting and disappointing fall, never give up to prove that we are still the best among the best after all. It's so cool and great! I'm VERY VERY VERY proud of my fellow juniors. It has indeed cured my hard feeling of last year's fall. They have never let us down, truly CHSB spirit!

Bridge of the song Conquer the Best

As we break the dawn to achieve new light
with some barriers with no hope at sight
When there's no support and hope seems not tall
we will keep to our promise and refuse to fall

Very meaningful lines of the song.

I'm currently speechless as I'm just too happy to say anything. If it's not today's test, I would have probably party with them in Penang.
